Throughout the year, the Kasson Alliance seeks sponsorships, corporate and individual, to support our annual programming. Sponsorships are needed for our Annual National Preservation Month program, various special events and other projects. If you plan to make an estate gift to the Kasson Alliance for Restoration through your will, please think it thru carefully. Then meet with your attorney to discuss, develop or update your will. You are welcome to contact us if you have questions. See Contact Us.
An example of the legal bequest language is:
I [your name] of [your city, state] give, devise and bequeath to the Kasson Alliance for Restoration in the United States of America [written dollar amount or percentage of estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use.
We hope you will tell us about your estate gift as we would very much like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity. If you prefer, public recognition of your gift can encourage others to do the same. If you prefer to remain anonymous your gift will be kept completely confidential. We appreciate your support immensely.
Other options include:
- Federal law allows people who are 70 ½ or older to make tax-free gifts of up to $100,000/year from their IRA.
- Donate your retirement plan assets by listing the Kasson Alliance as a beneficiary.
- Make a gift of real estate.
- Gifts of life insurance.
- Life Income Gift invested to pay you (or the person you name) income for life, then the gift principal is transferred to the Kasson Alliance to be used as you have directed (a partial charitable deduction on your income tax return).
